The Stokes County Sheriffs Office has been made aware of a jury scam currently happening in Stokes County. The individuals calling are using an officer's name and threatening the individuals that you must pay money or be jailed. The Sheriff's Office does not call individuals for money or threaten them for money. If you are suspicious about any call you receive, hang up and call your local Sheriff's Office to verify what you are being told.
