Mass Casualty Drill 
Mitchell, S.D. – Avera Queen of Peace Hospital, Avera Brady, and Firesteel Healthcare Center in Mitchell will be conducting a Full-Scale Mass Casualty Drill on Thursday August 11, 2022, at approximately 10:00 AM. The majority of the drill will take place at Firesteel Healthcare Center, located at 1120 E. 7th Ave. Residents and their families will be notified of the drill. No residents will be involved in the drill. Due to the amount of vehicles responding, and for the safety of emergency responders, we ask that you avoid the immediate area.
