Racine Police Department 730 Center Street  Racine Wisconsin, 53403 PHONE NO. (262) 886-2300 FAX. NO. (262) 635-0190 Date: August 14, 2022 No: 22-21 Subject: Homicide and Arrest On Friday, August 12, 2022 at approximately 2026 hours officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Case Ave. in reference to a male who had been shot. Upon officers arrival they located a male party in a driveway who had a single gunshot wound. The male was transported by rescue squad to Ascension Medical Center and eventually airlifted to Milwaukee. Unfortunately the male did not survive his injuries. The male was identified as Quentin Smith, 16 years old of Racine. On Saturday, August 13, 2022 investigators developed a suspect in Smith’s homicide. A fifteen year old male of Racine was arrested for 1st Degree Intentional Homicide. This investigation is still active and ongoing. Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident.
