Alert

BH Cooling Centers open this week: beverlyhills.org/sunsafe; 9/6-9/20, please avoid outdoor watering & conserve water

COOLING CENTERS ARE OPEN in Beverly Hills! The heat wave is expected to continue through this Friday! Please stay hydrated, indoors when possible and keep pets safe. If you must go outside, don’t forget to use sunscreen protection.

The following locations are OPEN Monday-Friday this week and provide a cool, air-conditioned environment:

✅Roxbury Park Community Center: 8am-9pm

✅La Cienega Park Community Center: 8am-9pm

✅Beverly Hills Public Library: 9:30am-9:30pm

Pets may be taken to a designated room at Roxbury Park Community Center and La Cienega Park Community Center today through Friday beginning at 10am.

OUTDOOR watering reminder: Beginning TODAY through Tuesday, September 20, the City of Beverly Hills is eliminating outdoor watering and is STRONGLY recommending the community also do the same and conserve water indoors as much as possible so that Metropolitan Water District of Southern California can repair a major pipeline.

California is already in a drought – so let's ALL do our part together to conserve!

Instructions:

Please stay indoors during heat wave.
