Massabesic St Phase 2 Roadway Reconstruction Begins Monday 9-26-2022. 
 
The Department of Public Works Contractor, Continental Paving, will begin the roadway reconstruction on Massabesic St between Cypress St and Mammoth Rd during the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. The reconstruction is anticipated to take approximately +/- 5 weeks. Please plan accordingly, avoid the work area if possible, and seek alternate routes.
 
Parking on Massabesic St during scheduled work hours is prohibited, violators will be towed. 
 
Detours will be in place during the Construction. Access to properties may be delayed during the process, residents and motorists should expect delays. 
 
Construction Detour

• Southeast traffic on Massabesic St will be detoured north at Cypress St to Spruce St to Tarrytown Rd. Left on Tarrytown Rd and right onto Lake Ave. to Mammoth Rd
• Eastbound traffic on Massabesic St will be detoured across Massabesic St to Tarrytown Rd. right onto Lake Ave. to Mammoth Rd
• Northwest traffic on Massabesic St will remain open to traffic between Mammoth Rd and Cypress St.
