Grosse Pointe Woods Police Investigate a Possible Attempted Abduction.

Grosse Pointe Woods, MI (10/17/2022) – A Grosse Pointe Woods resident, age 20, reports that at approximately 11:30pm, while walking his dog, he was physically assaulted while being dragged to a white work van in what is described as an attempted abduction on the 2100 block of Lennon St. During the altercation, the victim was able to strike the suspect and break free. The suspect subsequently left the area.
The suspect is described as a white male, 40-45 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, medium build, and clean shaven.  He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black winter hat.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white work van, possibly a Ford Econoline van, with “whited out” windows.
