Due to a motor vehicle accident involving a utility pole and wires down, Old Bridge Turnpike in the area of McPherson Street will be closed to traffic. Traffic will be detoured around the closure.
Motorists should anticipate traffic delays in the area and plan another route, if possible.
Residents in the immediate area are without power. As repairs are being made, additional residences may briefly lose power.
