Snow likely through Tues night, cold temps through end of week. Exercise caution when traveling due to snow, ice.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until tomorrow, Tuesday 12/20, at 7PM. Jefferson County residents can expect snow through tomorrow evening, and extremely cold temperatures through the end of the week.

Exact snowfall amounts and temperatures will vary by location, with heavier amounts near the Hood Canal area, as well west of Jefferson County along 101 between Sequim and Port Angeles.

Drivers should exercise extreme caution when traveling, and should also consider deferring unneccesary travel if at all possible. Snowfall Monday night and Tuesday morning may cause adverse traffic conditions, as can ice while temperatures remain near freezing or below through Friday.
