(262) 635-0190 Date: December 29, 2022 No: 22-31 Subject: Fatal Hit and Run Accident UPDATE (01/03/23): The suspect vehicle has been located and towed for evidence. Victim: Morales Sr., Anthony C, 69 year old male of Racine On December 22, 2022 at approximately 2236 hours, officers responded to the 1800 block of Erie St. in reference to a rescue run. Information was gathered that an individual went outside to start his vehicle when he was struck by another vehicle which fled the scene. Anthony Morales was found lying in the street. Morales was transported to the hospital and then air lifted to Milwaukee. Unfortunately Morales has since died from his injuries. Suspect vehicle parts found at the scene were for a 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent, gray/silver in color. Parts of a black grill were also found. Racine Police Traffic investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident.
