Significant weather events forecasted Sat.1/7 – Wed.1/11 for NapaCo. Remain vigilant as fallen trees, flooding & power outages is expected
Extremely wet weather continues across the region, with two significant storms expected to pass through Napa County. One moderate storm is expected over the weekend, followed by a more powerful storm early Monday morning through Tuesday with moderate rain continuing into Wednesday.
Due to very saturated soils, even winds on the lower end of the speed range can cause downed trees. When trees fall, this can be a threat to lives, cause power outages, and add debris to waterways which can exacerbate flooding.
Please continue to exercise caution when on the road and if you are ever near a downed powerline, stay clear of the area and call 9-1-1.
