ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Seeking Community Assistance in Locating Missing Jogger - Last Seen Near Claire Ct. and Highland Dr.
The Novato Police Department is seeking assistance in locating 32-year-old Mark Donald Bretan, who left from his residence without his phone to go jogging yesterday. Bretan suffers from mental health issues and his whereabouts and destination are unknown at this time.
Last Seen: Monday, January 16, 2023 around 9:30AM
Last Known Location: Claire Court toward Highland Drive, Novato
Description: Black sweatpants, running shoes and a colorful headband. His shirt color is unknown. Bretan is approximately 5'06, 130 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.
We are asking assistance from anyone who normally walks or jogs the trails in Novato to call the Novato Police Department immediately if they see Bretan. We are also asking residents of the Highland Drive/Claire Court area to check their surveillance cameras for any footage of Bretan on January 16th around 9:30 AM.
