Job Opportunity: Police Dispatcher
The South River Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Dispatcher. Applicants must apply online at www.policeapp.com (applications cannot be picked up in person).
The position of Police Dispatcher is a non-sworn position under the direction of the Chief of Police that is responsible for, but not limited to, receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency police, fire and EMS calls for service by telephone, radio and/or computer, and providing information to the public.
Starting salary: $41,823

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or a GED equivalent

- Work 12 hour shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays)
