Improper Parking Reminder 
Recently, our department has received numerous complaints from residents regarding vehicles parked against the flow of traffic. Parking in this manner poses a safety risk when entering or exiting the flow of traffic and causes a danger to pedestrians.
As a reminder, as per New Jersey statute (39: 4-135), vehicles must be parked on the side of the roadway heading in the direction of traffic In order to educate and remind residents, officers will first issue warnings to vehicles found to be in violation of this statute until April 21st. After April 21st, vehicles in violation will be subject to receiving summonses
