State Rd 38 Project announced 
INDOT announces State Road 38 will close on or after Monday, April 3 for Phase Two of a major pavement improvement project near Mulberry. The closure will be between County Road 350 S in Tippecanoe County and West Street in Mulberry. Access will be maintained for property owners, business owners and postal delivery.
Crews will be performing a Full Depth Reclamation in the first two miles. Once completed, they will move onto the next section. They will also be working on pipes and ditches throughout the entire Phase Two closure. This section of S.R. 38 is expected to remain closed through mid-November, weather permitting.
The official detour follows I-65 northbound to S.R. 26 east to U.S. 421 south and back to S.R. 38.
