UPDATE: All lanes of travel are open and the road closure has been cancelled. UPDATE 
NCPD advises you to AVOID Location due to a current traffic issue. Down power lines near East 24th Street has closed the road between the 200 and 400 blocks and will require a detour of traffic for the next several hours. We will provide updates once we receive more information from utility companies.
UPDATE:
Both lanes of travel should be open within the hour; however, the two outer lanes on 24th Street will remain closed as utility crews continue their work. Please continue to avoid the area if possible. The estimated time for work to be complete is 10-12 hours.
