Richmond Fire Update 4/16/2023: Evacuation Orders Lifted. Guidelines for reentry to the area included.
For our Richmond residents affected by the Industrial Fire, the previously established evacuation zone/orders and shelter-in-place orders have been lifted as of 4:00pm today, Sunday, April 16, 2023. This decision was made in collaboration with multiple federal, state, and local officials and based upon guidance from the Wayne County Health Department using test results and air monitoring data provided to us by the US EPA for analysis.
