VICTIM: Alexis M. Fisher DOB: 01/17/87 of Racine
ARRESTED: Alejandro Sierra DOB: 04/12/93 of Racine
UPDATE (04/21/23):
On Thursday, April 21, 2023 at approximately 5:29pm Alejandro Sierra surrendered himself to Racine County Deputies in the 900 block of Center St. He was taken into custody without incident by Racine County deputies and Racine Police officers. The firearm used in the homicide was also recovered. Sierra has been charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide.
On Saturday, April 15, 2023 at approximately 0459 hours Racine Police and Racine Fire responded to the roundabout at Spring St. and State St. regarding a woman down in the roadway. Upon their arrival they located a 36 year old female who was deceased by an apparent gunshot wound.
This appears to be an isolated incident between two acquaintances and the suspect is still at large. The investigation is active and on-going at this time.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7784.
