Update as of 10:30 a.m.: The incident at Paly has concluded. We will have officers on or near the campus for the remainder of the school day to help students and staff feel safe and secure. Later today, we will have a news release out with additional details of what occurred.

We have officers on scene at Palo Alto High School this morning investigating a written threat that was discovered in a classroom. There is no active emergency at the school. Students and staff are safe.
As a safety precaution, students are in a shelter-in-place status. We are working collaboratively with school administrators and will share additional information once we have it.
