The Police Department is pleased to announce that its next “Breaking With the Law” event is on Monday, May 22, between 2 and 4 p.m. at Palo Alto Cafe at 2675 Middlefield Road in the Midtown neighborhood.
There’s no formal program or presentation, just an opportunity to “take a break” and have casual conversations with personnel from the Police Department. Meet officers, dispatchers, records personnel, and maybe even an animal control officer too. Swing by at any point during the two hours, ask questions, raise concerns, and grab some fantastic coffee or food from Palo Alto Cafe!
If you choose to bring your kids, we'll have a police car there that they'll be able to check out.
Future events will occur at other locations in town and on alternate days and times to accommodate the diverse schedules of our community members.
