Winter Storm Warning until 10:00AM Wednesday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches above 3000 feet, with localized amounts of 8 inches around 4000 feet. Accumulations of a coating to a few inches between 2000 and 3000 feet. Winds gusting 30 to 45 mph.

* WHERE...Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of heavy wet snow, strong winds, and green up on trees will enhance the threat for downed trees and power outages above 3,000 feet. Sub-freezing temperatures are expected overnight. Visibility could be reduced to a half mile or less at times.

* AFFECTED AREAS: WESTERN GRANT ... WESTERN PENDLETON
