On Sunday, May 14, 2023, at 10:58 PM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to 556 Whitley Avenue regarding a suspicious person with a flashlight looking into the business. Upon arrival, officers located a male adult, who was later identified as Ralph Garica (Age 61). Garica was wearing a hat, sunglasses, gloves and was carrying a flashlight. Officers conducted a search of Garcia for Officer Safety and located a 12-inch kitchen knife tucked into Garcia’s waistband. Garcia was arrested for being in violation of 21310 PC- Possession of Dirk or Dagger and later cited to appear in the Kings County Superior Court.
