There was not an active shooter situation today at Solano Town Center Mall. Four people have, however, been arrested following an attempted robbery today at that location.

The male victim had reportedly just made a large purchase inside the mall when he was followed by two males into the parking lot near JCPenney’s. The victim fled to his vehicle, locking the doors and the assailants followed, using a gun to shatter the vehicle’s window and then reaching inside to strike the victim with the weapon. The victim sustained mild to moderate injuries from being struck with the gun.

Police responded, arresting the two robbers and detaining two others in a waiting getaway vehicle. Three of the four detained arrested are juveniles and will not be named for that reason.
