On Saturday, February 18, 2023, at approximately 10:00 PM, Corcoran Police Officers responded to the Kings Manor Apartments located at 1420 North Avenue regarding a shooting. Upon arrival Officers located approximately 30 spent bullet casings in various areas. Officers also located numerous vehicles and one apartment that had been struck by gunfire. The apartment was occupied by 5 subjects during the time of the shooting. All subjects involved fled the scene prior to Officers arrival and no subjects were reported to be injured. Corcoran Detectives responded and began investigating this incident. Through investigation, it was determined at least 3 subjects fired guns at each other. One of the subjects was identified as Jonathan Sanders (age 19). Detectives authored an arrest warrant for Jonathan for being in violation of Penal Code Section 246- Shoot at an inhabited dwelling. A Kings County Judge signed the warrant with a bail of $75,000.00. On June 9, 2023, a multi-agency takedown named “Operation Moovin Out” occurred. During this takedown Jonathan was arrested and booked into the Kings County Jail where he is being held on his warrant for $75,000.00 along with other arrest warrants.
