Subject: Homicide
On Saturday, June 10, 2023 at approximately 6:31pm officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Walnut St. for a possible stabbing. Upon officers arrival they located a 27 year old male laying on the sidewalk bleeding from his chest. Life saving measures were attempted and the male was transported to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.
A 27 year old female, who had been with the male upon officers' arrival, admitted to stabbing the male party. The female was taken into custody and transported to the Investigations Bureau for an interview. Upon completion of an interview she was transported to the Racine County Jail.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
