Update as of 7:15 a.m. on Thursday: Caltrans crews have worked overnight on the signals at this intersection. The signals have just been re-energized and are currently flashing red in all directions.

A solo vehicle collision has disabled all of the traffic signals at the intersection of El Camino Real and Embarcadero Road as of about 7:10 p.m. on Wednesday evening. The estimated time of repair is not known; the signal lights on El Camino Real are under the control of Caltrans, not the City. We have notified Caltrans.
Expect delays as drivers treat the large intersection as a four-way stop. We would recommend you avoid the area if possible to avoid those delays.
