Beginning at 1PM today, June 22, 2023, Sherman Ave will be closed from Grant Ave to Cain Lane for the annual Rock the Block event. At 4PM, Grant Ave will also be closed from Machin Ave to Reichert Ave. The road closures will occur to safely accommodate the attendees, vendors, and community members. Grant Ave & Sherman Ave will re-open once the event concludes at 10PM.

• Road Closures:
  • Sherman Ave (between Grant Ave & Cain Ln) 
  • Grant Ave (between Machin Ave & Reichert Ave)
• Closure Times: 1PM (Sherman Ave) & 4PM (Grant Ave) on 6/22
• Re-opening Time: 10PM on 6/22 for both streets 

The Novato Police Department will be working this event to reasonably accommodate any traffic related issues. Please use alternative routes when necessary. We request those who cannot avoid the area to allow plenty of time for travel. The community’s patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.
