UPDATE (06/27/23): Tracy Scott has been arrested by the US Marshals Service in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
UPDATE (06/06/23):
Victim: Shawnte A. Hudson; DOB: 03/10/1985
SUSPECT: Tracy S. Scott; DOB: 01/27/1962
Tracy Scott has been developed as the suspect in the homicide of Shawnte Hudson. Please contact Inv. Nuttall at 262-770-0339 with any information regarding his whereabouts.
On Friday, June 2, 2023 at approximately 0112 hours officers responded to the 1600 block of W. 6th St. regarding a shooting. Upon officers arrival they located a 38 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male succumbed to his injuries.
A person of interest has been developed. The investigation is active and ongoing.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
