July 4th Parade Information
- The parade route starts at Walton Ave and N. Wisconsin (staging area). Walton Ave. to N. Main St.; south to 14th St.; 14th St. west to the Golden Rondell (end of parade)
- No vehicles will be allowed to park on the parade route after 6am on July 4th. Any vehicles still parked on the parade route will be towed.
- The parade route starts to shut down at 7am. The parade starts at 9am.
- For any residents living east of Main St. who will be traveling, please plan accordingly as the parade take precedence over vehicle traffic.
- All emergency corridors must remain unobstructed. No one may sit, stand or set up chairs within the street at those intersections.
- Emergency Corridors: Goold/Main; High/Main; State/Main; Hamilton/Main; 6th/Main; 11th/Main; 14th/Grand; and 14th/Racine
- Spectators of the parade may sit up to the edge of the sidewalk/curb. Spectators must stay clear of the roadway.
- Spectators cannot occupy the roadway at all while walking, using unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, or other modes of transportation.
- Vendors must be off of the parade route once the pre-parade starts. They may position on side streets to sell their wares. Vendors must also have a current valid peddler’s permit.
- Spectators cannot run up to floats/vehicles due to the extreme risk of being run over. Spectators must remain behind the curb line and out of the roadway.
- Spectators may only cross the street at an intersection, when there is a break in the parade and when a posted officer deems it safe to do so.
- Please do not move any barricades as they are there for a reason.
- Please pack your patience as there will be more traffic than on a normal day.
