FTPD is aware of the bear going through town. Please ONLY call about it if it is approaching people/pets/property or otherwise a threat. If you see a bear, do not approach it, do not feed it, and do not let children or animals outside until long after it has passed through. To report black bear damage and nuisance, call the DEP’s 24-hour, toll-free hotline at 1-877-WARN DEP (1-877-927-6337).
