* WHERE...A portion of north central Mississippi, including the following counties, Grenada and Leflore.

* WHEN...Until Noon CDT today.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Significant flooding is possible as 6 to 10 inches of rain with locally higher amounts may fall over portions of north central Mississippi while 3 to 6 inches may fall over a large portion of central and east Mississippi.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LEFLORE ... GRENADA
