Subject: Homicide
On July 22, 2023 at approximately 10pm, officers responded to the 1500 block of Winslow St. regarding a male party being shot. Upon officers arrival they located a 31 year old male laying in the roadway suffering from multiple, fatal gunshot wounds. The suspect fled and has not been identified. The male victim was involved in a verbal argument prior to getting shot which may have led to the shooting. The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this incident. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
