SRPD Non-emergency Telephone Outage
The South River Police Department is experiencing an outage of our non-emergency telephone lines due to phone network issues affecting various areas of New Jersey.
If you are unable to reach us on our 732-238-1000 non-emergency telephone line, please call 201-954-9983 to reach our communications center for any non-emergency reasons.
Our 9-1-1 emergency phone lines remain functioning normally and can be used for emergencies.
Examples of non-emergency reasons include property damage, break-in to a vehicle (when suspect is gone), theft of property (when suspect is gone), vandalism (when suspect is gone), panhandlers, intoxicated persons who are not disorderly, or cars blocking the street or alleys.
Examples of emergencies include medical problems (chest pain, seizure, bleeding, etc.), any type of fire (business, car, building, etc.), or any life-threatening situation (fights, person with weapons, etc.) or any crime in progress (when the suspect is still on scene or has just fled).
An update will be sent when the issue has been rectified.
