Eastbound East Charleston Road is temporarily closed in the 700 block while officers investigate a solo vehicle collision into a pole which appears to have also caused a power outage in the area.
Crews are actively working to restore power (the current estimated time of restoration is 1 p.m.).
Traffic signals in the area are out; please drive with caution and remember to treat “dark” intersections as four-way stops.
