TRAFFIC SAFETY ADVISORY-CLOVERDALE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Cloverdale Unified School District is back in session at all campuses starting Wednesday, August 16th, 2023. As in years past, the Police Department reminds all drivers to use extreme caution when traveling in and on the grounds of school. We expect heavier than normal vehicle and pedestrian traffic in the mornings and afternoons during the first few days of school.
Motorists are urged to use extra caution and adhere to the stop signs at the North St. and Cloverdale Blvd. intersection, where school-aged children are often present and utilizing the crosswalk. The City of Cloverdale and Cloverdale Police Department recognize the importance of pedestrian safety and strongly advise motorists to be extra cautious at all intersections within the city.
The police department will be visible in the area providing extra patrols and increased traffic enforcement.
