* At 404 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Big Spring State Park to Scotland to Paramount-Long Meadow, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include... Harrisburg, Carlisle, Lower Allen, Hanover, Waynesboro, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Gettysburg, New Cumberland, Parkville, Enola and Shippensburg. Radar has indicated rotation within these severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not immediately likely, tornadoes can develop quickly during severe thunderstorms.
