Subject: Domestic Abuse Murder/Suicide
Deceased: Cassandra G. Sims, 29 year old female of Racine
Deandre D. Martin, 30 year old male of Milwaukee
On August 11, 2023 at approximately 5:19pm officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Drexel Ave. regarding suspicious circumstance after a three year old child ran to a neighbor seeking help. Arriving officers entered the residence and located Cassandra Sims and Deandre Martin deceased. Investigators were able to determine that SIMS was shot and killed by Martin. Martin then took his own life.
