P. Gioioso & Sons will continue working in the streets the week of August 28^th  through September 1^st .

Crew # 1 will continue installing the main drain pipe and manholes on Smyth Road between Bruce Street and Pickering Street. The crew will also be placing and compacting roadway subgrade gravel on Smyth Road. Smyth Road between Belmont Street and Kennard Road will be closed to through traffic with detours around the construction zone. Construction materials on Bruce Road will be consolidated in preparation for the start of the school year.

Crew # 2 will prep for sidewalk paving on North Street between Oak Street and Hemlock Street and on Smyth Road between Belmont Street and Bruce Road. North Street will have intermittent closures during sidewalk construction.

Crew #3 will pave sidewalks on North Street and Smyth Road at the locations noted above on Wednesday through Friday weather permitting. The crew will also be adjusting catch basins to grade and paving around the catch basins at locations on North Street that have had the curbs reset, starting on Walnut Street and progressing east.
