Sheriff Lemons would like to invite you to a presentation on Social Media/ Internet Safety at the Walnut Cove Fire Department Sunday afternoon on October 15, 2023 at 3pm. The dangers our children face online are a serious threat to their mental health and general safety. We want to alert children and adults to the potential dangers that are out there, as our children are our future. The presentation is geared toward youth and adults and will last about 1 hour. There will be references to incidents that have happened in the past and the consequences of those choices. We would rate the presentation as PG. We hope to be able present this information in other communities when dates and venues can be secured.
