SHELTER IN PLACE: Residences outside the area, within a 1/4 mile radius, may now leave. The shelter in place has been LIFTED.

GAS LEAK/EVACUATION: Park Ave/Park Ct. Between 4th & 5th St. Novato. Park Ave & Park Ct. Roads Are CLOSED. 

GAS LEAK: Novato Fire, PG&E, and Novato Police are on scene investigating the report of a gas leak in the area of Park Ave./Park Ct. between 4th and 5th St in Novato. A strong odor of gas may be present in the area.

ROAD CLOSURE:

• Park Ave./Park Ct. between 4th & 5th St. - CLOSED
• 5th St. At Grant Ave - CLOSED

EVACUATION: Residents of Park Ct./Park St. between 4th and 5th Street, please evacuate your residence now. This area is expected to be closed while PG&E and Novato Fire crews work to contain the gas leak. 

Residences outside the area within a 1/4 mile radius, please shelter in place. 

If you need assistance with evacuating your residence, please call 9-1-1. This evacuation is a precautionary measure due to the proximity of the homes to the leak. We will provide updates as available.
