Parade route on Saint Helena Island to cause Saturday road closures; please plan accordingly 
On Saturday, November 11, 2023, road closures will be in place for the Heritage Days Parade on St. Helena Island.
The parade route starts at St. Helena Elementary School on Sea Island Parkway and goes to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive where it will make a left towards the Penn Center.
All lanes of Sea Island Parkway between the elementary school and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Drive will be closed from 8:45 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive will be closed from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please plan accordingly for these closures.
The 39th annual Penn Center Heritage Days Celebration began on Thursday, November 9, 2023. The three-day festival at the Penn Center honors the Gullah Geechee culture.
