On Friday, November 10th, 2023, at 7:39 p.m., Sunnyvale DPS personnel responded to a commercial business complex located at 154 San Lazaro Ave., on the report of a fire. Upon arrival, Fire crews found the business of origin fully involved in fire. A defensive firefighting operation was initiated. Due to the size of the structure, a second alarm was called. Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the business of origin before ultimately extinguishing the fire.
The structure sustained major fire damage. All occupants were able to safely evacuate the structure and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but it does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
