INCIDENT: FATAL HIT AND RUN TRAFFIC COLLISION

On Friday, November 17th, 2023, at 11:13 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to a hit and run traffic collision involving two vehicles at Towne Ave and Philadelphia St. Upon arrival, officers found one injured driver unresponsive. They performed lifesaving measures until LA County Fire Department personnel arrived and the driver was transported to the hospital; the driver unfortunately passed away as a result of their injuries.
The other involved driver fled the scene of the collision on foot and were not located.
