This is a message from the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Traffic Management Center. On Friday, December 1st, Bay Street from Charles Street to Carteret Street in Beaufort City will be closed to vehicular traffic commencing at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM as a result of the first Friday event. Scott Street and West Streets will be closed from Bay to Port Republic Street. Motorists are urged to plan accordingly and expect delays.
