Notification of Construction Work/Detour - Saturday, December 9, 2023 to Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 7:00 PM (Saturday) to 9:00 AM (Sunday)
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (Turnpike) and J.D. Eckman, Inc. (Contractor) have scheduled a detour of I-476 to remove a portion of the existing bridge carrying Tilghman Street over I-476, between the Allentown and Quakertown Interchanges on the evening of Saturday December 9, 2023 into Sunday December 10, 2023.
Please be advised that Tilghman Street will be reduced from
3-lanes to 1-lane from approximately 7:00 PM (Saturday) until 9:00 AM (Sunday). Traffic flaggers will be in place for the duration of the lane closures to control the flow of traffic.
