* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations ranging from 2 to 4 inches below 3,000 feet with 4 to 7 inches above 3,000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Western Grant and Western Pendleton Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute with snow covered and slippery surfaces.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rain will change to snow this evening between 5 and 7 PM above 3,000 feet and between 7 and 9 PM below 3,000 feet. Temperatures will fall rapidly below freezing. Snow showers will continue overnight into Monday morning. The combination of snow and blowing snow will reduce visibility below one-half mile at times.
