Last week Chief Deputy Eric Cone had the chance to attend the second week of the Chief Deupties' Leadership Institute hosted by the NC Sheriff's Association. During that week, chief deupties from across the state learned about topics such as ethics, sex offender registration laws, budgeting, civil process laws, and various other topics. 

Also in attendance on Wednesday was Sheriff Lemons. Sheriff Lemons had the chance to particpate in a panel discussion, along with 3 other sheriffs.
