Press Release: One Person Shot Following Altercation Behind Fairfield Bank
Today, at 3:25 pm, police responded to a call regarding shots fired to the rear of a bank in the 2600 block of North Texas Street. Upon arriving at the scene, witnesses advised officers that two males were involved in physical altercation, when one pulled a gun and shot the other in the arm. The shooter then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition but has been uncooperative with investigators. The Fairfield Police Department asks that any tips regarding the incident be called in to (707)428-7300.
