ARRAIGNMENT/BAIL STATUS: Snow was turned over to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for further court proceedings in Montgomery County Court.
INCIDENT NARRATIVE: The Amsterdam Police Department conducted an investigation into the sales of controlled substances by Kyle R. Snow occurring throughout the City of Amsterdam. During the investigation Snow did sell a controlled substance to a police source. As a result of the investigation the charges of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd were presented to a Montgomery County grand jury for an indictment. As a result the grand jury indicted Snow on the aforementioned mentioned charges. A Montgomery County Court warrant was then issued for the arrest of Snow on the above charges. On 2/19/2023 Amsterdam Police were notified by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office that they had Snow in their custody in the Town of Johnstown. Snow was turned over to members of the Amsterdam Police patrol division for transport to Amsterdam Police headquarters where he was processed on the above charges.
The Amsterdam Police Department was assisted in this case by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
While there was probable cause for this arrest, all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
