FTPD is accepting applications for its Spring 2024 Citizen's Academy. Sign-up and meet your local police officers! 
The Citizen's Academy is geared to introduce civilians of varied ages (18+) to the law enforcement profession. The 12-week program will cover different topics weekly from the Patrol Bureau, Detective Bureau, Traffic Bureau, Community Relations Bureau and many more. Participants will also be able to try their hand at real-life scenarios through the Firearms Training Simulator. This session will begin March 27th and run through June 12th every Wednesday from 6:30-8:30pm at the Community Relations Bureau (CRB), 935 Hamilton Street, Somerset. Sign-up deadline is March 22, 2024.
