...The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan WI has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Illinois...Wisconsin... Sugar River At Brodhead affecting Winnebago, Green and Rock Counties.
* WHAT...Flooding is possible.
* WHERE...Sugar River at Brodhead.
* WHEN...From late tonight to early Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 6.5 feet, There is widespread flooding of lowland and agricultural land. Downstream in the Avon Bottoms area of Rock County, there is flooding in Sugar River Park. Some roads are flooded in Avon Township,including Beloit Newark Rd, about 6 miles downstream of Brodhead. In Illinois, Winslow Rd is threatened near the river between Durand and Shirland. Low lying areas of Sugar Shores Camping Resort may be inundated.
